Inspired by workwear produced under the material restrictions of World War II, these Liberty Stripe Work Pants feature a button fly shaped by the limited availability of metal components during the period. Bar tacks reinforce the pocket openings and other high-stress areas, reflecting the practical construction of wartime garments. The high-rise waist and roomy straight-leg silhouette retain the generous proportions of early work pants.

The pants are made from 10.5 oz Liberty Stripe yarn-dyed cotton, distinguished by a fine blue line running between the broader blue and white stripes. This classic workwear pattern remained in use throughout much of the 20th century and into the 1970s.

Woven from siro-spun cotton yarn, the fabric has a smoother surface with improved strength and durability. The yarns are dyed before weaving, making the stripes part of the fabric rather than a surface print and giving them greater definition, richer color, and lasting character.
